In My Mailbox #35

In My Mailbox is a weekly feature hosted by the wonderful The Story Siren where we get to drool with one another over the awesome books that came in the post this week!

A HUUUUGE thank you to my amazing Psychotic Sidekick, Sarah from saz101 for the gorgeous copy of Fire! There was glitter involved. And lots of stamps. And maybe vegan chocolate, but some greedy person devoured it already *subtly licks sticky brown substance from face* I loved Graceling, so I'm super excited to see what Fire is like, especially since Sarah says she likes this even better than the first! THANK YOU, LOVELY! It was her birthday last Thursday, so you should all go follow her as a belated present :)

Before I started reading, I thought the US cover fit the idea of Revived better than the Australian (shown above), but 3/4 way through and the Aussie fits the feel of the story more. The book isn't quite what I was expecting, but I am liking it! Choker is super short, so hopefully I can squeeze it in soon. I've heard it's got a really creepy vibe? Brodie intrigued!

What's in your mailbox this week?

  30. LOL I was just about to make the Mrs. Weasley joke but I see that Alice beat me to it! :P AHHH, you meet the coolest people online... HARRY POTTER FTW <3 Ahem. Anyways. Fire sounds so amazing!! I am definitely itching to read it after Graceling, especially since I've heard people like it even more! EEEEEEE.

And Revived! I only just recently read the summary properly and I am SO INTRIGUED. Both it and Forgotten have like the coolest concepts so hopefully I get to read both of them in the near future! Revived should be on its way to me soon anyways... I can't wait to read it!

  33. Ooh, what did you think of Revived? I just finished it last week- I liked it, but not nearly a much as Forgotten... I had the feeling throughout the entire book that Mr. Love interest was going to turn on Daisy. He wasn't nearly as likeable as Luke, for me.
